COVID 19 UPDATE: There are many fake videos with different information related to covid tests in Katra. We were there on 21,22,23,24,25 Jan 2021. The covid test is valid for 96 hours (not 48 and not 72). Secondly, if you have the covid report you need not wait at the station. However, if do not have the covid report then you will have to pass the test which will take two to three hours. Also you need to carry your identities to verify the report that you carry. Adhaar card will work. Pan card will not work as identity.

SNOW FALL UPDATE: There was heavy snowfall on 24th Jan 2021 in Bhairav Ghati. There is a less inflow in Maa Vaishno Devi as we observed.

PURNAI GUFA AND OLD CAVE UPDATE: We were allowed darshan through Purani Gufa or old cave and we also were also allowed to sit outside the cave for half n hour. We meditated and prayed for half n hour just outside the cave.
