For those without Guru- Ḍattatreya as Guru. Sri Dakṣiṇamūrti

For those without Guru- (Real life incident) many people, birds and animals are my Guru. However, there is no Guru in person. According to sastras one should worship Sri Dakṣiṇamūrti and Sri Ḍattatreya as Guru. Sri Dakṣiṇamūrti is form of Siva and is considered ādi Guru. According to Sri Raman Maharishi, Dakṣiṇā does not refer to direction one meaning of Ḍakśina is efficient; another meaning is ‘in the heart on the right side of the body’; amūrti ’means Formlessness’. “Ḍakśinmoorthy Strotram” in Sanskrit, means the “Shapelessness situated on the right side.

For worship one can recite Sri Dakṣiṇamūrti strotram daily or just remember him with heart visualizing him through Dhyāna mantra and pic. Then one should offer flowers, ḍeepa, dhupa and gaṃdha etc. in visual manner. This manas Dhyāna is powerful but requires practise. It has no bad results.

Sri Ḍattatreya is the most benevolent Guru. The worship is simple. Chant “Jai Guru Dutta”. Or visualize the feet and offer flowers regularly. The chanting should be done for years and Guru Dutta himself appears to help and change things. However, you should offer devotion and love to Guru Maharaja. Those who chant for material benefits should abstain from the same. Those who have too much questions can seek books but don’t meditate with questions. Answers appear when questions are true. Nagging persistent stupidity is questionable even in spiritual matters.

This should be done before every prayer.

Incident- A foreigner stuck in another country seeked my help by just coming across a picture she saw on internet. Praśna indicated severe abhicār (Black Magic). With no help and other option, she was told to recite “Jai Guru Dutta” mantra. She immediately got relief and was able to reach her country. Not only this Guru Dutta helped her in dreams and many other ways. She saw some astrologer in dreams who was telling her about her husband (about death and all). However she saw Guruji sitting next to astrologer telling her that he is lying about him. There are many miracles in her life, all because of Guru Dutta and her devotion.
