It is a common belief that nadi-astrology is something very different then the vedic astrology. In reality there is no much difference in Nadi astrology. The base of nadi astrology is the planets and their karkatwas. The Karaktawas of rashis and planets is mentioned in all the books and they are same everywhere. The confusion happens when we ignore and forget the basic rules. Astrology relies on memory and remembrance, and an astrologer should posses a great amount of memory. The interpretation of any chart is dependent on amount of combinations that an astrologer can think of in a particular time-slot. This comes with experience.

Classics also mention the rules of Nadi-astrology of having planets on both the sides, but Nadi granthas give them special importance.

The working methods of nadis, where planets are interpreted based on their combinations and positions, is in reality based on their degrees. These degrees define the actual position of planets in ansa charts and hence this important factor is common in all types of methods.

I am sharing an example of how nadi astrology is so powerful and can give you almost magical revelations, about the questioner.

Going against the rules of pasting the prashna chart first, I am hereby using the original chart first.

 

My first question was related to her father. Seeing the position of Sun in main chart and dwadashansha and drekkana chart, it was very clear that her father had married twice in life and that her mother died after she was born. This happened probably in her third or fourth year.

This interpretation could also be done based on the position in lagna chart only, but then we should have very pure knowledge about degrees of the planet involved.

Vrihad-Jataka by the revered Varah, gives very summarizing definition of planets in drekanna chart. This will tell us what will happen when Venus is placed in Virgo in first drekkana. (Based on this basic definition, I have done fool proof predictions about divorces.) One can use the same with fifth house lord and Jupiter for twin-births.

Also give a reading to the position of Venus in its third Navmansha.

My interpretation and further disclosure stunned her. She had never shared this information with anyone, not even her closest friend. She thought that it was because of some siddhi or something. However, this isn’t the truth. This interpretation was based on clear and concise calculations.

The further revelations were also crisp. I told her that how she is not able to decide her career yet and that her marriage has not taken place. Pay attention to Saturn in lagna and drekkana chart. However the dashmansha shows difference in allocation and there will be a career in future.

She was thirty and being in eighth house of chart and sixth house from Jupiter this was not a very happy age.

Her relations with her step mother were strained and she was also unhappy with the situations in her family. Please remember, that all these interpretations are based on very basic rules of astrology that are written everywhere.

PRASHNA CHART

Mercury placed in the eighth house showing the tension of the person. Sun in front and lord of Kautumbik Sukha in Lagna indicates the chinta or tension related to family, father, & mother.

According to Krishneeyam, Moon in ascendant; Saturn aspecting Moon and Mercury in bad position indicates that the questioner is not sincere in her question. In fact, she was not sincere at all when she came. Her sincerity and seriousness restored only when I told her something very secretive about her life and that made her very anxious.

Sun in Capricorn, so Veethi is Gemini. From Aruda (Aquarius) veethi is in fifth. From Gemini fifth is tula and hence Tula is Chatra. If I do not use the aruda then D-9 chart will be chatra.

Malefics aspects on ascendant, or the lord of the ascendant, with malefic, indicates that the questioner is not honest and exercises debauchery and cheating in personal life. This principle is unique and gives a clear picture about the character and inner nature of the questioner. The Lagna is having a Moon with Gulika in rear, having a direct aspect from malefic. The Aruda is Aquarius having Ketu. Chatra lord is with Mars in sixth house. Navmansha is having aspect of Mars.

The questioner is not pure hearted.

Still the duty of the astrologer is to predict. The question gives a clear picture of what is in her mind at the time of question.

THE ARUDA

Aruda is influenced by Ketu. This indicates tensions and knowledge of some kind of spiritual science (She was practicing Aura healing) . The lord is Saturn, placed in the eleventh house having a mutual aspect from sixth house lord. The enmity with stepmother, the tensions about career and her duality of mind is visible in this chart.

The various lagnas indicate that she was not very clear about her questions. She dropped in to test me, and was later baffled by my interpretations.

In ancient times, the astrologers used to turn down the questioner with these kind of charts. They were told to come back again with clear mind or after doing some penance in a temple. However, times have changed. I have to tell her few things to satisfy her curiousness.
