संस्मरण : भाव समाधी, माँ का चमत्कार / क्षीर कुंड में बना रावण की कुल देवी वैष्णवी का मंदिर

यह २००३ के आसपास की घटना है | हम कश्मीर में थे | हमारे साथ कुछ मित्र भी थे | माँ वैष्णवी के दर्शन के पश्चात हम कश्मीर चले आये थे | अलग अलग जगह घूमने के पश्चात हमारे ड्राईवर ने हमसे पुछा की क्या आपने खीर भवानी का मंदिर देखा है | हमने तो नाम ही पहली बार सुना था पर जिज्ञासा थी सो कहा की हमे वहां जाना है | यह मंदिर कश्मीर से चौदह किलोमीटर की दूरी पर तुलमुल नाम के गाँव में स्थित है |

मंदिर के बाहर केंद्रीय रिज़र्व पुलिस की कड़ी चौकसी थी | हमारी तलाशी के बाद हमसे कैमरे से फोटो खीचने के लिए कहा गया था, गोया कि कैमरे में कुछ छिपा के रखा हो | वैसे वो उनकी ड्यूटी का हिस्सा ही था |

खैर मंदिर में प्रवेश करते ही एक पूर्ण चेतनता का आभास होने लगा था | देवी की प्रतिमा दूध के एक कुंड के बीचों बीच है | यहाँ दूध ख़राब नहीं होता क्योकि जानकारी के अनुसार दूध का यह कुंड काफी वर्षो से ऐसा ही है | मंदिर के बारे में किवदंती है की यह रावण की कुल देवी वैष्णवी का मंदिर है | रावण जब कुकर्म करने लगा तो उसकी कुल देवी ने उसका त्याग कर दिया | परन्तु उसका त्याग करने के पश्चात भी आकाश गमन के समय  देवी को रुकने के लिए कोई उचित स्थान नहीं दिखा | इस क्षेत्र में आने के पश्चात (यहाँ पहले कमल पुष्पों का विशाल जलाशय था ) उन्होंने स्वयं को उस जलाशय में छिपा लिया | अनेक युगों के पश्चात वहां से एक गावं वाला अपनी नैया को ले जा रहा था तो उसकी नांव इस स्थान पर आकर फँस गयी | बहुत कोशिश के पश्चात भी नांव तस से मस नहीं हुई | थक हार के वह घर लौट गया | उसी रात देवी ने स्वप्न में उसे कहा की उनकी एक प्रतिमा उसकी नांव के नीचे दबी है | अगले दिन प्रतिमा को बाहर निकाल कर वहां स्थापित किया गया | मां की इच्छा थी की उन्हें दूध के कुंड के बीच स्थापित किया जाए | ऐसा ही हुआ भी | आज भी लोग उस कुंड में दूध डालते हैं पर दूध कभी ख़राब नहीं होता | इस मंदिर में खीर का प्रशाद चढ़ता है |

मंदिर में दर्शन के दौरान ही हमे तीव्र शक्ति का अहसास हो रहा था | शरीर के रौंगटे खड़े हो रहे थे | कोई हमसे कह रहा था | “बहुत दिन बाद आया यहाँ | अब यहीं रुक जा | तु यहीं रह , मेरे पास रह”

कोई शक्ति वहां हमें रोक रही थी | देवी दर्शन के दौरान ही एक विशाल वृक्ष के समीप हमें विचित्र चेतनता का आभास होने लगा | हम वहीँ बैठ गए और कुछ ही क्षण में भाव समाधी में पहुँच गए | शरीर के पृष्ट भाग में तीव्र ठंडक का अहसास हो रहा था | ऐसा लग रहा था की हमने जीवन की हर ख़ुशी को पा लिया हो | इतना सुन्दर भाव था की उठने का मन ही नहीं कर रहा था | वहां स्थित शक्ति हमे रोक रही थी | मस्तक में पूर्ण शांति थी | यह उस स्थान की भाव शक्ति थी | ऐसा जान पड़ रहा की जीवन की प्रत्येक सम्पन्नता हमारे सामने शीश झुकाए बैठी हो | मां कह रही थी , “रुक जा, यहीं रह कर तपस्या कर, तुझे सब कुछ मिल जायेगा, तु जो बरसों से खोज रहा है में तुझे दे दूँगी”

हमारे मित्रों व पत्नी के लिए यह सब नया था | उन्हें तो वहां से जाने की जल्दी थी पर वहां की शक्ति हमें जाने नहीं दे रही थी | और फिर वही हुआ जो दुनिया में अक्सर होता है | पूर्ण चैतन्यता का वह भाव दुनियावी चक्कर के सामने क्षीण हो गया | बड़े अनमने ढंग से उठकर हम उनके साथ हो लिए | मित्रों के चेहरे पे मुस्कान ऐसी थी मानो उन्होंने किसी मुर्ख को जगाया हो | पर हमारे लिए वो कुछ क्षण ऐसे थे मानो अभी अभी किसी ने अमृत चख लिया हो | दुनिया में लौटना तो ऐसा था मानो किसी ने आकाश से धरती पर पटक दिया हो |

मन में उस भाव की मिठास के साथ हम वहां से बाहर आ गए | हम उस घटना को आज भी भूल नहीं पायें हैं | उस मंदिर में देवी का चेतन भाव है | वहां हर जीव निश्चल भाव से जाने पर उस भाव को  पूर्णता के साथ अनुभव कर सकता है |

Memoir: Bhavya Samadhi, The miracle of the divine mother / temple of Goddess Vaishnavi residing in Ksheer Kund, The Kuladevi of Ravana,

This incident took place around 2003. We were in Kashmir with some of our friends. After our visit of Vaishnavi temple in Katra, we took a taxi to  Kashmir. Kashmeer is a beautiful place if you ignore the toxic fumes of terrorism. After moving around different places, our driver inquired that whether we have heard or seen the temple of Kheer Bhavani. We have never heard about this temple, but his repeated praise about the temple, made us very curious. We told him to take us to this temple.

This temple is situated in the village of Tulmul, 14 kilometers from Kashmir.

Central Reserve Police Force was vigilant outside the temple. We were searched well and were told to take a photo from the camera, as if something was kept hidden in the camera. However, it was understood as a part of their duty.

Anyway, after entering the temple, a feeling of utmost consciousness started to appear. The statue of the Goddess Vaishnavi is in the middle of a pool of milk. The milk is not spoiled here, as per the information; this pool of milk is as it is from past many years. This temple belongs to vaishnavi, the Kuladevi of Ravana. When Ravan began to do mischief and was foreseen by devi that he will be involved in scandalous acts then she abandoned him. However, even after abandoning him, she cannot find any suitable place to rest. After coming into this area (there was a huge reservoir of lotus flowers here) she hid themselves in that reservoir (Ravan was searching her).

After many yugas a village dweller was taking his boat from there and his boat got trapped in this place. After a lot of effort, the boat was not settled. He returned home after being tired. That night, in the dream, Goddess told him that one of her statues is buried under his boat. Next day the statue was taken out and installed there. Mother’s wish was that they should be established between the milk pond. That’s what was decided. Even today, people add milk to that tank but milk never gets spoilt.

During the visit of the temple, I was experiencing intensity of power. The strands of the body were standing because of the presence of that Matru Shakti in that place. Someone was telling me. “You came after a long time here. Now stop here. Stay here, stay with me ”

That chaitanya Shakti was stopping me. During the visit, I began to feel strange power near a huge tree. I sat down and immediately went into a  Bhav Samadhi. I could feel Intense coldness in the back of the body. My head was floating in a peaceful white light. It seemed that I have found every happiness in life. It was such a beautiful feeling that I had no desire to rise. The power there was stopping me. There was complete peace in the mind. The matru Shakti of the place, was creating that bhava. It seemed that every prosperity of life is lying in front of my feet. The mother was saying, “Stop, here, do penance here, you will find everything, I will give you everything you are longing for”

This was all new for my friends and wife. They wanted to leave, but the power there was not letting me go. And then, as it usually happens that sense of complete consciousness became weak in front of the worldly affair. I got up with a deep longing. However, the Smiles on the faces of my friends was such as if they just woke up a fool. But for me those moments were the moments of tasting the nectar. The whole returning thing was like a drop from the sky.

With the sweetness of that feeling in mind, I came out from there. I have not forgotten that incident till today. That temple has the chaitanya bhava of the Goddess. Every person can have the experience of that feeling of fullness, if he/she visit the place with devotion and purity.
