🔱 Importance of pañca Bhūtas and their presence in vedīc Krityā and jyotiśa, marriage, medicine etc

The five elements represent the ingredients of recipe called life. Without them there is no prana or life. So a jyotiśa conducting a session without these is actually conducting a dead session in dead environment without prana or śakti. When there is no śakti, there is nothing else as well.

🦜 Hence in all vedīc Krityā pañca Bhūtas are invoked before everything.

🦜Also these elements work as witness for session. Hence, we light a lamp or keep gold during session. Anything being predicted in presence of these witness needs to be truth only. If a jyotiśa predicts otherwise then he is subject to harsh punishments.

🦜One should not lie in front of ḍeepa, flowers, water & gold etc. Any jyotiśa who lies suffers the penalty. So in ancient times it was a regular practise.

🦜Marriages have circumblance of agni for same reason. Agni is Sakshi. The one who is lying in front of Bhūta suffers inevitably in the end.

🦜The medicines too were administered in presence of these elements in yester years. Panca Bhūtas use śakti to energize auśaddhi for sick. There are many auṣadhālaya in Kerala who still follow the strict practise. 

🦜Any jyotiśa session without these elements is lifeless or has no meaning.
