This is the story of a King who performed ancient ritual of Murajapam which was initially started by King Shri Maarthaanda Verma. The Namboothiris were invited from all the nearby regions to perform the great ceremony of murajapam. They were to be subsequently awarded with Veera Shrinkhala, swarna and other gifts on the Poorna day.

During the ceremony they were also offered Payasam which is known as Kheer in North. Somehow, the Payasam was poisoned and because of that Many brahmins died at the spot. Everybody was sad and bewildered because of Brahma Hathya, The king was very depressed and sad because of the sudden turn of events. Yamaraja looked into the event. So first, the king was considered responsible for Brahma hatya dosha. To this the king responded that he did all the ceremony with utmost purity and chastity and there was no intention of killing anybody.

Yamaraja found the argument correct so the Royal cook was called. The cook told Yamaraja that he never put poison in the Payasam. Why would be do such a heinous crime ? Yamaraja checked that the cook was right as well. An enquiry was done and it was found that a falcon carried a snake in the sky when the payasam was cooked. The snake fell in the dish. So the falcon was called. Falcon argued that he is not responsible as he was carrying his prey and sometimes the prey can fell down if it gets released from the claws. He was not aware about the payasam and the ceremony. Yamaraja found this argument correct as well and the brahma hathya dosha was put in a suspense account.

Many years later the same King performed a big ceremony again. All the brahmins were called from nearby towns and villages. A group of brahmins were going towards the town discussing the ceremony and the humbleness of the king.A lady was walking behind them. She heard the conversation and asked them about the ceremony. When she heard the name of the king, she forewarned the brahmins that the king is a big fraud. He murdered many Brahmins by poisoning them with snake poison. She spoke the most harsh words she can speak against the king. As soon as she uttered those words the graha sabha and Yamaraja decided that she will be considered responsible for the Brahma Hatya and the punishment should be given to her.

So you see where your Manas and your words can lend you.

Astrological understanding.

There are tri-Shrapa discussed in Jyotisa. Amongst the three the mansa and vaacha shrap arise out of malefics in fifth and second bhava. All Rajyogas get bhanga subsequently when these bhavas, their adhipatis or their karkas are in bad shape. The fifth house which rules the internal thought process needs to be very clean. The moon also rules Manas, Mercury rules Vaani and Buddhi, Guru rules antargyan and so they too should be devoid of bad influences. Mercury does not have a direct identity, Buddhi wears the color where it is put. So Mercury should be checked for companionship and sign placements.

The Fifth house lord which rules antahkarana is with the eighth house lord in the rik bhava. Malefics in third house house make a person bold and increases the hunger for money.

Fifth house lord is under heavy malefic influence and so is moon. Mars is Mahabhadhkadhipati and Moon and Mars both occupy the nakshatra of Mars.

The second house of fine so a sweet speech was used for duping people. Mercury is vakri at zero degree, is BL lord as well.

Moon and Mars are having extremely bad influences and they are malefics as well. The combination of eight and twelfth house lord under strong malefic influences tend to increase the nature of deception.

Saturn’s sign is afflicted by Sixth house lord, BL, eight house lord and mars. So despite of being exalted Saturn is very bad.

The story above tells us that we should carry very good and pure intentions towards others. Our speech and karmas should be pure as well.
