The above is natal chart. Venus Dasha is running and Venus is only benefic in ṃithuna and in exaltation placed in mārakāanśa and combustion. It is aspected by malefic Jupiter and its sign is owned by Ketu. Mars is in MB and so is Rahu. 64th ṇavmanśas lord is Saturn and yet it is not operating in daśa. Except the kārmika debts indicated by Ketu and Jupiter and daiva there is no other symptom visible. So, one has to move to Praśna.
Praśna rule: As a general rule death related questions are not asked during the time of sūtaka. However, they can be asked later without the jātaka in hand or to be carried at the place of Praśna.
Jyeṣṭhā (mars) Krishna Ekadashi (mercury), day lord- (Mercury), HL- (Mercury), prīti yoga (Mercury), bāva karaṇa (sun). MB lord is Saturn, BL is sun.
Sun is BL and Mercury is 9th lord and powerful during Praśna. The karmas of father; and in-laws’ family both are reasons for the untimely demise of the person.
The ascendant lord is placed in seventh house with Rahu showing the question is related to ṃrityoo or death. However, the Praśna shows bādhā. This means that death is not natural but accidental or sudden. Ketu in ascendant shows suddenness in activity. Venus shows Jala ṭatva & white product. Mercury shows Pṛthvī ṭatva. Rahu is poison.

Bādhā bhava has mandi. Death occurs due to preta dośa. The lord is Sun which means preta either belongs to father’s family, or the preta belongs to someone from father-in-law’s family. The preta during the life on earth died of overindulgence like drinking or pleasure. Chances of a male are visible.
Death occurred by poisoned food or drink as 11th is involved. The person consumed milk before death. The same is visible with Venus + Rahu combination.
Why did it occur ?
Due to father’s karma as Sun is directly involved with 9th lord and Mercury is very strong in Praśna; both indicating father and paternal family or in-law’s family as the person was married. Saturn represents kārmika debts as bādhā.
Ārūḍha lord is Venus which is hostile with bādhakeśa so the preta wanted bali. Since 8th is involved the intention is straightaway killing. Here the preta is the killer and killed the person at a young age.
However, one should remember that such negative things are just instrumental, the real reasons are karmas of a person. One should be careful with deeds.
The marriage of the concerned person was performed within one month of pātaka period showing total indifference to the rituals and beliefs. It was a straight disrespect to the death of the elder in the family (father of husband). The additional kārmika debts of both families were pointing towards this incident.
