There is an important thing called Plava or Veethi in Vāstu. It is one of the most important concepts mentioned in sthāpatya granthas and one of the most ignored concepts of Vāstu as well. In fact, it has been applied in a very misleading way in all modern Vāstu books. While in reality it tells us everything about the place and person if applied in right way.

The Veethi related data and results are not exact or literal. In fact, in Jyotiśa and Vāstu everything is applied at a combination level. This is a very important thumb rule in jyotiśa, Vāstu, śārīrika etc. There is no individualistic theory that fits all. However, they have to be understood on a grand scale and also in the light of the other data collected. So let us analyse the chart and Veethi of Mr. Gates.

Varna- First of all, he is a technical Vaishya varna because he is not just a businessman but an engineer as well. The dominating planet Saturn also creates businessman but only those who deal with iron, technical matters, oils traders etc. The highest Bala in his chart is in Virgo which rules the direction SW. The strongest planets are Moon then Venus & Saturn are equal. Moon rules NW, Venus rules SE and Saturn carries highest digbala and is exalted with leading direction W. His horoscope shows multiple dhana yogas which makes lots of sense.

The house- The map shows Plava towards W, NW which makes complete sense in his case.

To understand varna is the most difficult part. Varna is a mixture of things. For example, a brahmin character working in a sector of medical industry needs to be looked from Scorpio which is Tāmasika but Brahmin. More so as Scorpio which rules the direction west is ruled by Tāmasika Saturn. In case of cancer, it is sātvika brahmin however the dominant direction South is ruled by tāmasika kshatriya Mars. The purest brahmin is Pisces which is sātvika brahmin with dominant direction ruled by Brihaspati who is Sātvika Brahmin. It gives us greatest insights into human brain and work profile. No matter who so ever is acting, we can always judge the person from horoscope and house. However, it needs deeper studies into the matter.

For e.g. he has water body in western side, because the most dominant planet is placed in watery direction west. The śadbala of Moon is strongest which lays in ocean or sign Pisces.
