Can we touch our heart and say with confidence that we are happy?, I mean how many of us are truly or really happy. Why are we living the life of someone else?, instead of living our own true life. Why are we unhappy?, This happens because we wanted something that never happened. There is a mantra for being happy.
1. Define what you want to do in your life?. No matter how lofty it appears, it should be something that you really want to do. It is easy thing to read, but definitely most of the people do not follow it. We have our aspirations based on social pressure, emotional pressure etc. This is not our true self. True self comes out when we are not under any pressure. That goal should be real and well-grounded. I wanted to be an astrologer at an age where everybody in society considered it to be foolish and useless, but I always has faith in myself and I knew I was born for this. No amount of pressure changed my whole idea and I adhered to it.
2. Set your final level of satisfaction. The point where you will be fully satisfied. It should include everything, marriage, children and the further consequences.
3. Subtract all the unpredictable circumstances of deception, death etc etc. Just be careful and assure yourself beforehand that they might happen.
4. Put some time in real you or your real life. If you know the answers to the questions above then you are already satisfied.
5. Look at both the sides of a coin, be aware of the darkness and light. Consider it to be a part of your future. So no matter what will happen in your life, you will always be ready for it.
……I know what I wanted to do, I am doing it. I know what I wanted to have, I am working for it. I know that I will be loved and hated, I already anticipated it. So what am I left with will be an utterly satisfied soul.
